What is Autism?
Autism is a congenital brain disorder that affects the way the brain processes information. The cause remains unknown. Some research suggests a neurological problem that affects parts of the brain responsible for processing language and sensory information. Parents are not to blame for their child having autism. Researchers agree that autism appears to be caused by a physical problem in the brain.
